MTM2 Montgomery Goat Farm

Montgomery Goat Farm was established in 2008 with registered goats.   There have been goats on this land for almost 30 years gradually evolving from a dairy herd to a good strong commercial/purbred herd.  The first goat came here in 1980 and the first 50% Boer/Nubian came here in 1996.  This year we had our first floodbloods  - twin bucks sired by Hackberry Hill Biscuit.

Phil and Charlotte GatesRichards are acting agents for our grandaughter, Mikayla Montgomery.  All registered animals are in her name.  Mikayla is a youth member of the Illinois Meat Goat Producers, the youth ABGA, and the youth USBGA.  She shows in a few shows and fairs in Illinois during the season.

Our small farm is located outside Deer Creek, Illinois between Peoria and Bloomington.  Visitors are always welcome.
